HighMatch’s Services team made up of Industrial & Organizational psychologists have identified a number of relevant role-based skill tests for candidates in real estate positions on prior experience with clients in the space.

Commercial Real Estate

  • Bookkeeping: This test will assess a test taker’s knowledge of day-to-day transactions, covering a range of topics such as debits and credits, business transactions, and basic accounting knowledge
  • Computer Literacy: This assessment is designed to measure the skills of a person familiar with some of the technical aspects of computer knowledge as well as terminology and practices
  • General Maintenance: This test is based on four different areas of knowledge; plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance problems (for example, changing light fixtures)
  • Property Management – This test is appropriate to administer to those that have basic knowledge of real estate maintenance, accounting and, of course, local, state, and federal laws
  • Sales Concepts: This assessment was created to assess the skill level of a sales representative. It can be used in any sales industry as it covers the basic skills needed to be successful in sales
  • Writing Sample – Sales: This test shows the writer’s ability to compose a short, persuasive letter

  • Property Management: This test for is appropriate to for those that have basic knowledge of real estate maintenance, accounting and laws that apply to the rental market
  • Sales Concepts: this test covers the basic skills needed to be successful in sales. This test includes such topical areas as; Rapport Building, Opening, Probing, Objections, and Closing
  • Computer Literacy: this assessment is designed to measure the skills of a person familiar with some of the technical aspects of computer knowledge as well as terminology and practices
  • General Maintenance: this test is based on four different areas of knowledge; plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance problems

  • Microsoft PowerPoint: Fast, mobile test that tests a candidate’s knowledge of the domains measured by the Microsoft MO-300 Powerpoint 365/2019 Certification
  • Microsoft Word: Fast, mobile test that tests a candidate’s knowledge of the domains measured by the Microsoft MO-100 Word 365/2019 Certification
  • Office Grammar and Spelling: This test measures a person’s knowledge of spelling, sentence structure, punctuation, and word usage. This test is designed for people who need verbal and written skills in order to perform a job successfully
  • Office Phone Etiquette: This test measures general use of the phone for most organizations. The focus of this assessment is on evaluating a person’s communication skills along with their ability to recognize proper phone etiquette and the best way to handle calls
