This integration deployment guide will provide you with a preview of what to expect for connecting ADP Recruiting Management with HighMatch.
Please note that the integration only functions with ADP Recruiting Management (ADP RM), and not with ADP Workforce Now, ADP Workforce Now Recruit or ADP Central.
Flow Summary
- The integration will trigger an assessment order when the candidate is moved to the HighMatch assessment applicant workflow and will send an invitation for the assessment to the candidate.
- HighMatch will display the assessment status of the HighMatch stage in ADP and update the candidate’s profile if the assessment was successfully sent to the candidate or not.
- When the candidate has completed the assessment, HighMatch will post the assessment score and detailed report to the ADP HighMatch assessment results stage on the candidate profile.

Process Overview
Step 1: Reach out to a ADP RM Support Representative
To start, you must first reach out to an ADP RM support representative, and let them know you’d like to enable the standard assessment integration on your ADP account.
Note: An ADP implementation contact is required for this process. We recommend that you schedule a meeting with ADP support as soon as possible, considering the scheduling process may take some time. ADP will likely want to schedule a kickoff call with both HighMatch and your team to guide you through the entire process of enabling the integration in ADP.
When you reach out to ADP, please let them know that you want to enable the assessment integration with HighMatch, and we will need the following information to start:
- ADP API Username
- ADP API Password
We will require this information to enable the integration into our system.
Step 2: Gathering Required Information
Once we receive the information, HighMatch will configure the credentials into our system. Once complete, we will send you or the ADP representative the following information:
- Joynd User Name
- Joynd Password
- Joynd Webhook URL
- Assessment Package Information
- Customer Code
- Partner ID and Secret
- Production Endpoint
Note: Assessments will need to be entered manually by ADP representative before they can be used via ADP.
Step 3: Configure Integration in ADP
The information in Step 2 will be sent to your ADP representative. The representative will perform the following configuration:
- Determine your workflow requirements for the assessment(s) and configure as necessary.
- Enter the assessment package information provided in Step 2.
- Configure the following:
- Customer Code
- Partner ID and Secret
- Production Endpoint
- Joynd Username, Password and Webhook.
Step 4: Testing
Once all settings are configured, the integration should be ready to use. Your ADP representative will help you test the HighMatch integration with a test job and test candidate to learn how to use the connector.
The following steps will be covered during testing:
- Setting and sorting the HighMatch stage in your hiring process.
- Assigning each HighMatch assessment to the corresponding job, including the option to select which assessment the candidate will receive.
- Stage test scenarios for UAT.
- Sending the assessment invitation to a candidate.
- Viewing the candidate’s assessment status and confirming the assessment was sent successfully.
- Receiving and viewing a candidate’s assessment score and detailed report on their profile.
You may provide your ADP representative any required feedback once initial testing has been completed to ensure the integration process if set up to your liking.
