This integration user guide will help you quickly and easily send candidates a HighMatch assessment invitation and receive those results in ClearCompany.
Summary of the Integration Flow
- The assessment is triggered manually by a recruiter or hiring manager.
- The candidate will complete the assessment via the invitation email they received when a recruiter or hiring manager manually ordered it.
- When the candidate has completed the assessment, HighMatch will post the assessment results on the candidate’s profile.

Process Details
Step 1: Ensure your ClearCompany Account meets the Prerequisite
Before the integration can be enabled, please ensure the “World of Work” functionality is enabled on your account. This functionality is mandatory. When HighMatch first contacts you to begin the integration enabling process, we will ask you to confirm this as the first step.
If you are unsure, please reach out to ClearCompany support to confirm. Once confirmed, please reply to HighMatch to let us know.
Step 2: Receiving Confirmation from UKG Pro
Once you confirm with HighMatch, we will begin configuring the integration into our system. We will contact you to provide you with a set of credentials and ask you to perform Steps 2-4.
If the person performing these steps does not have IT Admin enabled on their ClearCompany user account, you must configure this setting for the user’s account. Note that you may skip this step if you have it configured already. First:
- Go to the person performing these steps’ user profile, under Tools > Setup > Users.
- Find said user and select Edit User.
- Check the “IT Admin” permission.
- Ensure said user also has “Assessment Test” enabled.
Once this permission is added, please have the user log out & log back in.
Step 3: Configuring the Partner App Settings
With the IT Admin permission enabled, you will need to configure the integration by adding the credentials HighMatch provided in Step 2 to your account. Start by:
- Log into your ClearCompany account.
- Go to the World of Work functionality.
- Select HighMatch from the list.
- Select Add App and enter the following information:
- ClientID: This is the Joynd User Name that HighMatch will provide you.
- Client Secret: This is the Joynd Password that HighMatch will provide you.
- Single Sign on Method: Set to None.
- Customer Support URL: Enter https://www.joynd.io/support/
- Customer Support Phone Number: Enter 1-844-700-0090
- Who are the administrators of this 3rd party app?: Set to Joynd Admin.
- Should this app be provisioned or deprovisioned without approval?: Leave blank.
- Add the app.
Step 4: Grant User Access
After you have configured the integration in your account, you will need to grant user access to any user you wish to use the integration and send assessments:
- Go to Tools > Setup > Users.
- Select a user within the list and choose Edit Apps.
- Find the app configured above and toggle it on for the user.
- Note: You will need to do this for every user who will be initiating assessments and will need access to the app.
Step 5: Create a Test Job Requisition and Test Candidate
The integration will be ready to use once Steps 2-4 are completed. We recommend testing the integration first by creating a test job requisition and a test candidate.
For the test candidate, please ensure the email you enter is an email address you can access.
Now your setup is complete and it is now time to schedule a meeting with your HighMatch Success Manager to being integration testing. We will help guide you through Step 6 during your meeting.
Step 6: Initiating the Assessment and Reviewing the Assessment Results
To use the integration, start by:
- Adding the test candidate to the test job requisition.
- From the New Applications screen, select the Actions drop-down menu.
- Select Initiate Assessment.
- A list of assessment packages will be provided: Select the assessment you want to be administered.
- Choose Send Assessment Test from the Actions drop-down menu.
- You will see a message in green at the bottom right indicating success, and the candidate will be sent an invitation email to complete the assessment.
- After the assessment has been completed, the results will be sent back to ClearCompany and populated in the candidate’s record.
