This integration deployment guide will help you quickly and seamlessly connect Jobvite with HighMatch.
Summary of the Integration Flow
- The integration is triggered manually by a recruiter or hiring manager.
- The candidate will complete the assessment via the invitation email they received, which will be sent when a candidate is moved into the assessment step by a recruiter or hiring manager.
- HighMatch will update the assessment status in Jobvite when the assessment is in progress, completed, or an error occurs.
- When the candidate has completed the assessment, HighMatch will post the results and a link to a detailed HighMatch assessment report on the candidate’s profile.

Process Details
Step 1: Reach out to Jobvite’s Support Team
Once this integration setup has been approved, HighMatch will reach out to let you know we are ready to enable the integration.
This email will direct you to reach out to Jobvite’s support team to enable a webhook to send an assessment using the HighMatch integration and ask them to provide you with a set of credentials.
For the webhook, we will include a different set of credentials in the same email. The credentials include: Joynd User Name, Password, Webhook URL, and whitelisting info (if needed). To ensure this process goes smoothly, please tell Jobvite support that for the webhook, the Signing key is the Joynd Password and the Callback URL is the Webhook URL we provided you.
Please also ask Jobvite support for the following credentials that HighMatch requires:
- Jobvite API Key
- Jobvite Secret Key
- Jobvite Encoded Company ID
Please send these credentials to us, and we will configure them into our system.
Step 2: Create Custom Fields for the integration in your Jobvite account.
Once HighMatch finishes configuring your credentials, you’ll need to create several custom fields for the integration. The custom fields required are:
Note: Every custom field, stage, and status value’s field name is tied to the integration’s data mapping. To expedite the enabling process, please label every field, stage, and status value exactly as listed under “Field Name” below. Naming can be changed if desired; however, we will need to know the exact name used so we can map the field correctly in our system.
- Create a custom field for requisitions. This field is where the assessment package information will be entered and selected. Please enter:
- Field Name: “HighMatch Assessments”
- Field Type: Drop Down List.
- Values: You will need to manually enter your assessment’s name exactly as it is labeled in your HighMatch account (HighMatch will provide you with the information to add).
- Note: This field will need to be added and the assessment selected in your job requisition’s settings. You’ll need to do this for every requisition you wish to use the assessments with.
- Create four candidate custom fields in Jobvite for the assessment statuses and results. Please label them:
- Order Status field
- Field Name: HighMatch Order Status
- Field Type: Text
- Order Report URL field
- Field Name: HighMatch Order Report URL
- Field Type: hyperlink
- Whitelisted Domain Names: report.highmatch.com
- Score field
- Field Name: HighMatch Score
- Field Type: Text
- Score Label field
- Field Name: HighMatch Score Label
- Field Type: Text
- Order Status field
Step 3: Create an Assessment Initiate Stage and Status Values
Once all custom fields are created, you’ll need to create a stage that initiates the assessment, along with the assessment status values.
These status values will automatically update in your Jobvite instance as the candidate progresses through the assessment. Please create:
Note: Every custom field, stage, and status value’s field name is tied to the integration’s data mapping. To expedite the enabling process, please label every field, stage, and status value exactly as listed under “Field Name” below. Naming can be changed if desired; however, we will need to know the exact name used so we can map the field correctly in our system.
- Create a new step/stage in your workflow for the integration labeled “Initiate Assessment”.
- Create new status values with these labels:
- “In Progress”
- “Completed”
- “Error”
Step 4: Send HighMatch all Custom Field, Stage, and Status Value Information
As mentioned before, every custom field, stage, and status value’s name is tied to the integration’s data mapping.
Once you’ve created every required custom field, stage, and status value, please send all field names, field codes, and field types to your contact at HighMatch.
We will use this information to ensure that everything is mapped correctly so the integration functions as intended. We will reach back out once the mapping process is complete and the integration is ready to use.
Now your setup is complete and it is now time to schedule a meeting with your HighMatch Success Manager to being integration testing. We will help guide you through Step 5 during your meeting.
Step 5: Initiate the Assessment & Review the Assessment Results
Now that the integration is enabled, we recommend you test the integration.
- Create a test Jobvite candidate with an email address that you have access to.
- Create a test Job in Jobvite.
- Add the requisition custom field created in Step 2 to the requisition’s settings, and select the assessment you wish to use.
- Add the test candidate to the test job.
- Move the test candidate to the “Initiate Assessment” step to send the assessment.
- Take the assessment.
- Once completed, the assessment’s report URL will be posted under the “Order Report URL” field created in Step 2 > click the report’s URL > review results.
Your integration is set up and ready to use! Please reach out to HighMatch’s Success team at support@highmatch.com if you have any questions or feedback regarding the HighMatch integration, assessments and assessment reports.
