This integration deployment guide will help you quickly and seamlessly connect PayCor with HighMatch to start using assessments inline in your application workflow.
Summary of the Integration Flow
- The integration will trigger an assessment order when the HighMatch assessment is manually requested on a candidate’s profile and will send the candidate an invitation to the assessment.
- HighMatch will display the assessment status in PayCor and update the candidate’s profile if the assessment was successfully sent to the candidate or not.
- When the candidate has completed the assessment, HighMatch will post the assessment score and detailed report to the candidate’s profile.

Process Details
Step 1: Reach out to the PayCor Recruiting Support Team
Once this integration setup has been approved with HighMatch, your HighMatch Success Manager will reach out asking you to contact PayCor’s Recruiting Support team and request the job assessment integration (Tavio/HighMatch) in Recruiting.

Please request your Recruiting Account ID from the Recruiting Support team and send it to your HighMatch Success Manager. Once we receive your Recruiting Account ID, we will work to enable it in our system.

Step 2: How to Send an Assessment When You Create a New Job Approval Request
Begin an Offer Approval Request:
- Log in and go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking – Your Recruiting dashboard will appear.
- Find the job you want to request an offer for and click the title (The job details screen will appear with a candidate breakdown).
- Click the candidate’s name, and their details screen will appear.
- Along the top, click Offer ($) and select Request Offer Approval.
- Complete the required and optional fields in the pop-up.
- If you have the Assessment Integration enabled, if you want to Assess Candidates, you must complete the Job Title field.
- After selecting the job title, go to the Assess Candidates section, select the best option, and then click the Assessment link.
- Select an assessment from the list you set up and click Save.
- When you finish, click Continue on the top-right.
- Enter an optional comment in the pop=up as needed and click Submit.
- This notifies your Approval Manager that you have submitted the request with a notification on their dashboard.
Step 3: How to Send an Assessment with an Existing Job Approval
On an Existing Job Approval:
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking – Your Recruiting dashboard will appear.
- Find the job you want to request an offer for and click the title (The job details screen will appear with a candidate breakdown).
- Click the Info icon next to the job title to view the job details.
- In the Job Info tab, go to the Assess Candidates section > Select the most appropriate option and click the Assessment link.
- Select an assessment from the list you set up and click Save.
- This assessment automatically appears with this job for offer approvals.
- To send the assessment to a candidate, click the candidate’s name, then, when their details appear, click the Assessment tab and select Request an assessment.
- In the pop-up, When you finish completing the To field, click SEND EMAIL NOW, or click the clock icon to schedule a future delivery.
- When the pop-up appears, click REQUEST ASSESSMENT.
- Your Newsfeed will update for the job showing the scheduled assessment email (envelope with a clock icon).
- If a candidate has not responded to an assessment request, you can resend it at any time. On the candidate’s details screen, click the Assessment tab, and at the top, click Resend Assessment Request Message and then click SEND EMAIL NOW. Another email is sent to the candidate, and their Newsfeed is updated.
Step 4: How to view an Assessment Report
When a candidate completes an assessment, their Newsfeed is updated, and the completed assessment is added to Recruiting. Go to the Assessment tab and click View Assessment.
You can click the report link to a new tab that will open with the assessment report. Here you can view a detailed explanation of the assessment’s results.
